Achieving your Halo Glow at Acqua Blu
Your beautiful, revitalized skin journey to achieve your Halo Glow starts with a thoughtful consultation to hear your concerns and examine your skin. If it is needed, we will prep your skin two weeks prior to your treatment with hydroquinone. The hydroquinone pre-treats against inflammation.
During the Halo laser treatment, your skin will be prepared with a numbing cream. Once it has taken effect, the laser will be moved over your skin, section by section. Expect some discomfort, but not intense pain. The sensation is best described as intense heat and the snap of a rubber band.
Once this is complete, an anti-inflammatory cream is applied to soothe the skin.

Aftercare
We use Hylunia Skincare for post operative care as your skin is healing, including Hyaluronic Moisturizer and Multi-Action ADVANCED RESTORATIVE CREAM.
During your healing period, expect some slight swelling for a couple of days. You will also experience MENDS, microscopic epidermal necrotic debris, a natural part of the healing process. These are little brown spots all over your face that will peel away as the results begin to show through. These will take 5-7 days to fall off completely. Do not pick or scratch at them, and be sure to wash your face carefully and gently during this time, 3-4 times a day.
